Rick: Ignore button off for one second while I spank the child in the room.

WOW - I am the one who has contributed more links and information to back up my opinions - you have given NOTHING.

    Typical blind rightwing "brilliance" abounds.

Ignore back on and Oh Look Rick - the button got stuck - and the troll food just ran out.

Just because you love it SOOOOO much, Depukey:

The names of Obama and his clueless band of socialists will be despised for generations. The arrogance of the left-wing platform is outrageous, inexcusable and intolerable. Tax the people until they bleed; level incomes, making sure that those who are willing to work hard for an income pay for those who aren't. Oh, yes... THAT'S the way to build our economy! Bullsh!t.

      No sign of "change" there.

, in 1919 a vat of mosasses exploded and we now refer to it as the Boston Molasses Flood. You are more than welcome to look it up, too. It could qualify as a "viscous attack" of sorts, and could technically be an effective description to the way the media attacked Palin. Moral of the story: be sure you know what you're tallking about before you become a word nazi :)

Sara Palin has pulled the wool over all your eyes that are trying to run her down. Just think, she has everyone on the web talking about her, she has the liberal Democrats and the main stream news media, making themselves look like foolish gangsters, with all their name calling, innuendos, lies, and mistruths. Many of the people that were on the fence about her before will certainly be for her now. She has out smarted and out witted the lot of her detractors. Sort of funny and she is not through yet. :-)

Those that worship Obama that said he did it right, do not realize that Mr. Obama's voting record in the senate shows a very poor attendance while he was running for president. Sara P. has done the proper thing, and will not be wasting tax payer’s money like the messiah did while trying to hug his good friends, in Wright, Acorn and the long list of anti-Americans. GO SARA PALIN, YOU HAVE THE OPPOSITION SCARED OF THEIR OWN SHADOWS.

So I guess you're saying Sarah's got such a winning record:

      • FactCheck.org: GOP Convention Spin, Part II

Sep 4, 2008 ... Sarah Palin's much-awaited speech at the Republican National ... short on facts when it came to touting her own record and going after Obama's. ... Finally, Huckabee told conventioneers and TV viewers that Palin got more votes when she ran ... and support for the bridge at a Ketchikan campaign stop. ...

To all bloggers, when reading a quote from "FactCheck.org" please, take what you read with a grain of salt and look for other websites to confirm or not confirm what you have wrote.

FactCheck has a great sounding name but is as biased as the DNC or RNC is in content. I would love to recommend an alternative site, but there is no one site that is entirely neutral on all issues. Good luck and good reading.

          DEBEKI

Since you responded to one of my posts in an unusual way I have looked at some of your posts. You really should not bother claiming to be smarter than everyone else. Using your nationality(American Indian) and playing the sympathy card is a crude way to claim your right and they're wrong. I also have Indian ancestors but I do not use that to put myself over others.

Most of your sources are biased so you are not as correct as you claim.

FactCheck is known to be biased.

You claim your not unpatriotic but in the same sentence claim for the first time in your adult life just like Michelle Obama - I AM VERY PROUD OF THE UNITED STATES. Those statements counter-dick each other.

Don't let being a Bush hater blind sight you to what is happening. Blaming Bush does nothing to correct our countries problems. Do you understand that is what they want you to do? Doing that you are focusing on the past not the present. That is being manipulated to justify what is being changed, however it is not in our best interests. If Bush was so bad (and he did make mistakes) don't you think it is strange the current administration is doing almost the same at a much faster rate and is going to bankrupt our country?

What our country & citizens need and deserve are honest politions who truly represent our best interests. If the truth was told, the media and politions want us divided instead of united keeping an eye on them.

MSNBC has email exchanges dating to just before the election between Palin and McCain's campaign manager wherein Palin complains that there are bloggers stating her husband Todd has been a member of AIP- the Alaskan Independence Party for 7 years and that the AIP advocates for Alaska becoming an independent nation and that McCain's campaign needed to get in front of this. McCain's campaign manager in replying to Palin states that they won't for two reasons, first the campaign would be lying because the AIP does in fact advocate for secession and her husband has in fact been an active member for over 7 years and secondly since the main stream media hadn't picked up on the story it would be stupid to draw attention to it.

The above combined with the upcoming investigations for embezzelment and misappropriation of funds has Caribou Barbie hoping that by stepping down, all of this will just go away.

Maybe she hope to become the candidate for the AIP in 2012, good luck with that Sarah and Buh Bye!

Ron please do not believe all you read in the liberal main stream news. As far as Sara Palin's husband goes, I will not even look it up as he was not, has not and will not run for a public office to my knowledge.

Now you mention an ethics violation, well, Obama had 30 attorney in Alaska trying to dig up dirt (good ole Chicago politics) on Sara prior to the election. Now that the election is over they have started a bunch of rumors, in fact she has had 40 to date of ethics lawsuits, but all have come up empty. You are just being used by the Chicago machine. Check your facts, before continuing the demography. Gee, that word is close to Democrat also.

Willow, your comments on this current topic are very interesting to say the least, but I have to question as to why anyone is even bothering about it. It should be ignored! Here we have, as one commentator put it, bizzare behavior, let alone the quacking ducks in the background- how appropiate. In reality I feel she should be spending some very long'quiet time' in her special Moose Lodge hospital where they have trained people to help her touch reality again. It's sad that the press have to focus on this person other than make her out to be more than she could ever pretend to be, as inmho, way out of her league. One only has to look at the current Rep. line up for the future. My God, is this the type of people America considers serously to attempt to run this country. If they only have two other 'billable' candidates at present, Huckabee( although his saving grace is he can play a guitar) and the bland, mind dumbing Morman, Romney, then we are in deep, deep trouble. So take your pick at the moment and hope the Reps. can find some candidate with a brain & some common sense if they are seriously trying to regain the Presidency. Meantime, if they can come up with some real alternative policies instead of just criticsizing the current Administration we would be all better off. Lipstick on politicians, pigs or hockey mum's is not going to do much except give us a good laugh, now she will be 'off' & running wherever.

If people were dumb enough to re-elect the dumbest president ever who lied to start a war, which has killed thousands of our military men and women, people are definitely dumb enough to vote for Palin for any political office.

Palin is fraud and an idiot - she would have served well under Bush! Africa - Heellloooo? She needs to worry about how she mis-billed her fellow Alaskans for her and her families time and travel. Troopergate wouldn't have happened if she wouldn't have let her personal problems get in the way of her professional decisions. She can't even tell the truth about something as simple as the sale of the State of Alaska's airplane. Palin admitted to smoking marijuana which made me wonder after she bombed her interview with Katie Couric so bad, had Palin JUST smoked some of that wacky weed? Palin needs to stay home and tend to her pregnant unwed minor teenage daughter and do her shopping in Alaska after she drives on her Bridge to Nowhere. Palin should not throw stones while living in a glass house.

Interesting how Palin's family problems and disfunctionalism was not supposed to be questioned. When a person enters the political arena, by now they should know everything is up for grabs, including personal matters. The Republicans don't want their personal issues public but they love to point fingers at the Democrats and Liberals. What comes around goes around, unfortunately GOP's haven't figured out they are NOT perfect and they are NOT above rules and laws. Why is it okay for a bunch of LOSERS to rub Bill's actions in Hillary's face or why is it okay for a bunch of LOSERS to ask Chelsea about her fathers actions? Why does this not fall into the category of personal issues that should not be discussed in public?

Jodi, I am really sorry to read such remarks as you have just made. The only way you would know all those personal things is if it was you that you were talking about. I cannot even bring myself to say bad things like that about anyone, yet a classy person like Sara Palin.

Please think thinks through and direct your comments to her politics, instead of trying to tell lies and untruths with no back up data on things that apply directly to her politics. Her personal life is hers and we, you and I have no business trying to make it something that it is not.

Sarah Palin supporters: this is what is being said on Greta Van Susteren's (from Fix Noise) site.

Nice new site Greta but the links are all broken. And I hope Sarah investigates how Mrs Obama is operating 24/7 to take down Sarah and other Republicans state and Federal as well as other people. I hope she sues the pants off that public nose picking, kotex showing, public night-gown wearing (posing it as a dress) mrs Obama------>the man behind the curtain. Let's open a new fund to investigate what Mrs Obama has done so far to tear Sarah's family to shreds. Mr and Mrs obama are vile, angry, evil and dangerous people. Where did congress they find these ghetto whores? I hope Sarah sues Mrs Obama for everything she has. I'm beginning to put the pieces of the puzzle together. Only an angry gorilla like Mrs Obama could be so "behind the scenes" and threatening and I think she is involved in the death of Stephanie Tubbs Jones. and more people...many more.

Oh my, Rick this is a site for bashing Sara Palin, it is against the rules to mention how little experience Obama has in comparison, or anything about the debt that he is taking on that is greater than all the other 43 presidents had combined. Wow, I think I got the number of presidents correct, let me see Obama did or did not get all 50 states correct. He could be excused for that as it was probably wrtten wrong on his teleprompter.

He is a sorry excuse for a president or is he our president. He is still trying to hold out and not produce an actual birth certificate. Hmmm. Transparentcy?

                      Hey "",

You know, that may not be such a crazy thought. With the GOP in shambles and the war between the Moderate Republicans, and the Social Conservatives and the Fiscal Conservatives, she could devastate the GOP by being the figure head of a new Conservative party, if she has some big money backers. She couldn't win the White House but could probably get Alaska's seat in the Senate. Shrewd indeed...or she just quit to try running and not being held up by her duties as Guv, thereby beign able to run around all day campaigning.

Anyone can be goofy and end up as an "ism" expert. Look at Yogi Bera, and everyone loved him. Does anyone have a concern about the actual lack of knowledge that both liberals and conservatives exhibit these days. Take the quote that Palin attributed to General Douglas MacArthur. The man who actually said it: Oliver Prince Smith, the much-decorated combat general who led his First Marine Division out of the Red Chinese trap at Chosin Reservoir in Korea in 1950. The "funny" part is that he was disobeying MacArthur at the time because he knew the run would be suicide. If properly attributed, this quote would have been much more supportive of Palins announcement and as a extra bonus, historically correct. Just saying. Note to Palin: get some researchers with due diligence. "Isms" are one thing, ignorance is another. Her announcement in general was, to loosely quote Winston Churchill, . ."a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.." The only thing she left off was to say. ."I shall return.."

Good thing whiny Grandma Palin did not get to be Vice President.

Can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen Granny. OR maybe the kitchen is exactly where Grandma Palin should be.

Let's hope Alaska gets reimbursed for all her families travels before she leaves. She is/WAS good at pointing fingers at others but boy whiny Grandma Palin can't take it when you point a finger at her.

                          Thank you Jesus!

We don't need a slutty flight attendant who took six years and five colleges to BARELY get a college degree as the head of our party!

                          RUSH FOR PRESIDENT!

I obviously prefer obese, narcotic shooting, drug-taking loud-mouthed men in leadership positions!

Well I guess people are still afraid of Palin. I mean they must be, cause the attacks still continue. It amazes me how such an unknown has managed to scare the hell out of all these people. And it's really getting tired. Let us all talk about the crappy job Obama is doing. Socialism is what we all need, if you go by what the majority wants. This country is in the toilet and Obama is getting ready to flush. Does anyone object to the way things are looking for this country? Well I do. Just checking if anyone else does. Palin is water under the bridge. I wish people would put this kind of energy into getting our politicians to do what they should. Maybe this country wouldn't be in the shape it's in.

I am an Alaskan and contrary to the massive speculations, and finger pointing that she has let Alaskan's down . The majority of us do not feel this way. The only ones up here spreading that vitriol is mostly the democratic party. Before Palin left to campaign with McCain, there was no fighting among the Democrats, Republicans and the Independents. There were Democrats in key positions on Sarah's cabinet. They all had their eye on the ball and were working remarkably well together to get our gas line through. After Sarah and McCain lost and Sarah returned ...nothing was the same. The democrats crucified her and the legislatures jumped on board. They refused to work with Sarah even at the detriment of hurting the Alaskan people. The Democrats game plan was to file numerous ,frivilous lawsuits. They kept heaping them on. Our legislature would not pass anything that Sarah put forth. It was plain to us Alaskan's that the Dems were going to continue this behaviour until the end of Sarah's term, rendering her ineffective to do her job as Governor. Most people would have stuck out the year and half, but Sarah is not most people. She feels very passionate about everything she does. She would never just sit there collecting a paycheck if she was not able to do her job. The democrats up here might think they have won...but most of us were appalled by the viciousness of the assaults. I think when reelection comes up we will be seeing a lot more red here in Alaska. The democrats just lost the mayors race to a Republican. We have just had it. This vitriol is not just happening here in Alaska and I expect American's have just had enough. I have a suspicion that there will be a lot of new faces in Congress in 2010 and they are not going to be blue. By the way, I am an Independent that used to almost vote along democratic lines, but no more.

I took a half a day to read these comments and only got a third of the way through. I am shocked how our unknown Sarah gets such a reaction out of people. Maybe you guys better turn your attention to what is happening to our country. While we focus on Michael and Sarah, there are dramatic changes going on in Congress. You are going to wake up one morning wondering what happened to America. You'll be scratching your head saying "Hey, I don't make over $250,000, why am I being taxed." We, yes we have to pay if cap and trade and the healthcare reform go through. If you are watching NBC or MSNBC, you will no doubt think this is a good thing, or even a patriotic thing ...to pay more taxes. This News channel is owned by GE Corp and they are not allowed to say ANYTHING bad about Obama or his policies. If they do, they have to go to re-education camp. They cannot give us an unbiased report. ABC got to go the White House to do an informational for Obama. Do you think they are watching our back? We have to watch our own backs and keep informed. I strongly feel that the Healthcare Reform and the Cap and Trade are GE Corp's vision, not Obama's. Obama owed the Union for putting him in office and he has paid them off by giving them 17.5% of GM. ACORN got $2 million now the only one he has to pay off with are tax dollars is GE. They could greatly benefit if both of these issues pass. They could get not millions, but billions of dollar contracts . They would get richer and the average American will pay.

Know this - if Chelsea would have gotten knocked-up as a minor teenager the Republicans would have plastered her all over the news - TV, Radio, and Internet. Make no mistake Republicans, especially you right-wing fanatics, you don't know how to play nice. For once in your lives be fair, call a spade a spade.

Palin is a fraud and an idiot - she would have served well under Bush! Africa - Heellloooo? She needs to worry about how she mis-billed her fellow Alaskans for her and her families time and travel. Troopergate wouldn't have happened if she wouldn't have let her personal problems get in the way of her professional decisions. She couldn't even tell the truth about something as simple as the sale of the State of Alaska's airplane. Palin admitted to smoking marijuana which made me wonder after she bombed her interview with Katie Couric so bad, had Palin JUST smoked some of that wacky weed? Palin should have stayed home to tend to her pregnant unwed minor teenage daughter instead of traveling the US and patting herself on the back every step of the way. Where O Where will she do her shopping now? When O When will she drive on her Bridge to Nowhere? Palin should not throw stones while living in a glass house.

She might have been able to gain some credibility had she not allowed herself to be pimped out so quick and easily by McCain's camp to do the dirty work by bashing Obama without merit. Now she is blaming McCain's camp for 'making' her bash Obama. OOOhhh What a web we weave! Funny what comes around goes around, what is more funny, is the bashing she is getting is coming from her own party! Gotta love it!
