Cobia hunter-Is she going to be unemployed while seeking the 2012 election??

Actually, I believe the true story is that Palin will not be seeking a second term as governor, not that she is resigning. At least that's what's being reported by CNN. This is most likely the scenerio since she will be gearing up for a run for the GOP Nomination in 2012. If this is indeed the case, then I wonder how long it will take the liberal moonbats at MSNBC to issue a retraction.

Here's an add on to the MSNBC story- What's she going to be doing moose hunting til then. Wonder what POTUS and FLOTUS are thinking??

There was no immediate word as to why she will step down before the end of her first term, though some have speculated in the past that she may be interested in running for president in 2012.

This makes no sense for someone who aspires to be president.  She's not even finished with her first term as Governor and she's resigning.  This will hurt her politically, it shows that she doesn't have the committment to finish even her first term.  Not a good move for her.  Of course, I am thrilled because I think she's a nutbag...

Perhaps something the McCain camp found out early on and had resisted making public.

You've all been duped by the moonbats at MSNBC who are suffering from chronic PDS (Palin Derangement Syndrome). The governor is not resigning, but rather she is not seeking a second term. Most likely to prepare for a run for the GOP nomination in 2012. If you think Sarah Palin scares the daylights out of the liberals and their lapdog media now, just wait until she makes this announcement. The leftwing loons David Letterman and Keith Olbermann will likely need psychiatric help. LOL!

              Cobia

you are a piece of work

"she is not resigning - she is just not seeking a second term"....

cool - not resigning would mean you finish out your first term like Gov Pawlenty of Mn who said he is not seeeking another term.....

and quite frankly I hope she starts running for President tomorrow - it only took her two months to alienate the Republican Party in 2008 - just think how much damage she can do in 3-1/2 years.

But let me ask you cobia - how can she run for President if she does not want "media coverage"?

you can't even defend her on whether she resigned or not - just thnk how busy you will be for 3 years being her apologist?

Sarah Palin is not done with politics, she have her website up and running to take donations.

And rumor has it that Michell Obama has her sights on 2016, will start campaigning in 2015, she doesn't want to give up the White House.

I think she just destroyed her chances for a 2012 run. Republicans don't particularly care for quitters. I thought originally McCain made a wise move by choosing her as his VP. But as time went on, more and more I believe he made a huge mistake. There are far to many women in the republican party who are talented, smart, savvy and most of all, not quitters. Again, if she wasn't destroying her chances in the last few months, she certainly put the nail in the coffin today.

No scandal, no nothing - just got bored with the whole thing.

If she is actually quitting and not just not running for a 2nd term, she can kiss her political career goodbye. But then, maybe she's been given an offer she can't refuse to have her own talk show on Fox or somewhere equally friendly to her ilk.
