UH OH, Mrs. Gingrich better watch out. Newt's already flipped flopped on the Marital Fidelity issue twice, so his about face on Libya could be a sign..........
It appears he is working hard again for the America he loves --which of course means he is getting some on the side again too-- so you may be correct-- let's see if he changes-up that again.
If President Obama is for it -- he's aginit. If President Obama is aginit, he's for it. No ethics whatsoever it seems to me.
Newt – you’re about to overtake Sarah Palin as the nation’s leading buffoon. With each passing day you make more of a fool out of yourself. If it was midnight in Washington and President Obama said it was dark outside, you would say the sun was shining.
You're RIGHT Rorschach. In fact The Newt "loved his country so much" that he cheated on TWO wives and had numerous affairs while married to both of them.
(Now THAT's the Republicans' definition of "patriotism.")
‘UH OH, Mrs. Gingrich better watch out. Newt's already flipped flopped on the Marital Fidelity issue twice, so his about face on Libya could be a sign..........”
^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Well, Newt’s explanation for changes in his marriages was that he would change wives whenever he became involved in “serious” work.
Now that Newt is becoming “serious” about running for president, I guess Newt will getting yet another new wife as well.
Maybe youcould qualify Newt's marraiges as "regeme Change?" to make sense. Anyway, thisalmost makes Sarah Palin look like a leader agiian. She loks salwart.
Gringich looks old womnly querrlous and petty. If he can't make up his mind aboutwomen, how can hemake a decison about his shoes-or anything else?
Like the comentator asid "If youdon't stand for anything, you'll fail at everthing." Maybe he's trying to channel Mitt Romney...
All I can say is I hope that Newt and/or Palin run. That way I know the GOP will not be in the White house... All the rest of them suck too...
Can we get Clinton back? It wasn't that long ago that he turned around a bad economy, balanced the budget, and did it all after following a Bush as President. All be it he only had to fix four years worth of one.
I could care less about Newt and his flings just as much as I care less about Clintons. I just want someone to do the job, do it right, and do what is in the best intrest of the people. And YES I believe Clinton did that.
Can we get Clinton back? It wasn't that long ago that he turned around a bad economy, balanced the budget, and did it all after following a Bush as President. All be it he only had to fix four years worth of one.
Unfortunately, the presidents have a two term limit (ever since FDR successfully serviced four terms, winning each re-election easily, the term limits were insisted upon)
I'm just in awe over how little our politicians care about the citizens they are representing. Gingrich can't be trusted to speak straight truth about anything. America is doomed if our politicians continue to put their personal rewards above what is good for our country. It looks like this can't be turned around.
I'm with you. Politicians have long ago lost siight of what their purpose should be. This is no longer a government of the people, by the people for the people. It is of the parties, by the parties and for the parties, and of course those who donate the big bucks. I would like to see us try this without political parties. They are by far more dangerous and damaging than unions ever could be.
How about, the political parties are "fronts" for political patronage? I give you a new beach house and you give me business? I give you a trusteeship and you keep me out of prison? Greed is the name of the game these days. Don't fool yourself. It is the common threat for ALL parties.
republicans get backed up against the wall with their lies, hypocrisy and failed policies, and the default escape route is to say, our guys are just politicians, and they do these despicable things. your guys are also politicians, so they must also do these despicable things.
enough of the 'both sides do it' non-sense. if you guys were so worried about corporations affect elections and politicians, you would too be screaming about citizens united and you would too be all for public campaign financing.
AWE??? Not me!! I mad as hell. I know who nerly destroyed this country by catering to the corporations and wealthy! It HAS to change. That is why Im on my little personal campaign to bring out the truth about what the GOP did, and is STILL doing to this country! And their propaganda machine would make Goebells envious! But, I'll just go on doing my thing and documenting what I find! It's time for real americans to get mad as hell too!! But not like the teabaggers! They're just radical know-nothings for the most part doing the GOP's dirty work!!
PS I dont know about you, but I think Newt should get a a job working at GEICO with that other newt!!
Newt is a loser and always has been. I am incredulous anyone would consider him a candidate for the presidency. The neanderthals will undoubtely unite around him and Palin. God help us!
Newt is a loser and always has been. I am incredulous anyone would consider him a candidate for the presidency. The neanderthals will undoubtely unite around him and Palin. God help us!
It just shows how DESPARATE the GOP is to find a candidate - and how they don't have ANY good ones to choose from. I mean, Romney? He lost the nomination the last time, and he has the health care reform albatross to defend. Sarah Palin? (The Queen of Comedy without a doubt, but she's a BUTT of the jokes!) Donald Trump?? (You've got to be KIDDING!!) Little Bobby Jindal? (He can't speak in public and looks like a world leader as much as any 4th grader does.) Huckleberry Hound (errr make that Mike Huckabee.) The GOP is too embarrassed by his religious nuttiness to nominate him.
Hmmm.....perhaps John McCain should run again? (That worked out SO WELL for the GOP last time, no?)
Look at that Scrooge face! Newt knows his political capital just went inverted!!
Check ... and Mate! Gingrich and all ReThugs are FURIOUS that Obama went into Libya unilaterally and without Congress, just like Lonesome George and Dickie Bird. The New Sheriff In Town!
Now they got NOTHIN'! NOTHIN!
Not only did Obama act as Commander in Chief, but he did it for HUMANITARIAN PURPOSES! The ReThugs just got WHIPPED!
All they got now is destroying Affordable Health Care for All, so that the taxpayer-funded FHA will reimburse Corporate Property Flippers, after SCOTUS approved the eviction of 11,000,000 upside down Americans.
Not a pretty picture in 2012.
How does that CROW taste, Newt? You're HAD! It's OVER! ReThuglicans LOSE!! Palin, Bachmann and Gingrich are now just fodder for the tip bin of Also Rans!Ahh,ha,ha,ha,ha.
They have to pay back when their campaign loses!! Just ask Hillary!
The gop, birthers, & tea party always will tell you that obama is wrong. That he cannot do anything right. That everything he does he shouldn't have done.
But what the truth. It's obama is cleaning up all the huge misteaks that were made by the gop, birthers, & tea party. Medical care, the economy, energy policy, the environment, afghanistan, iraq and yes gadhafi. The gop, birthers, & tea party & regan should have done the guy in decades ago. And i tell you, nobody wants a leader who is known world wide as a murderer of lockerbie innocents. Such a leader has no respect anywhere. Such a leader needs to watch his back everywhere he goes. Such a leader is laughed at every time he cannot set up his tent because of a local zoning law. I tell you obama is going to take care of regan's problem like he has all the other problems created & kicked down the road by the gop, birthers, & tea party.
Wow, looks like you watch too many cartoons. You better go now, I hear the Piped Piper of spending calling you. We just printed another batch of money.
Hi Tony, is that money being used to pay for W's two wars and his massive tax cut for the wealthy? It is being used to buy more foriegn goods from our excellent trading partner China? I thought deficits didn't matter? You're either with us or you are against us and a traitor...sound familiar. IF Republicans ever actually do something about the deficit, I may give you some creedence, or if you ever also point out the hypocrisy of the Republican deficits, I may give you some creedence...but to me you sound like a hypocrite.
You seem to draw incorrect assumption very easy. The misinformation is an issue as well. There were no massive tax breaks for the wealthy. You need to study the tax code and look at the facts when it comes to deductions and credits, etc. You don't know what you are talking about. This tax the rich is getting old. The mistakes that Bush made seem to be an excuss and justification for you to believe Obama doesn't need to do his job, but just focus on the past. Learn from the past. You can't change the past. The constant complaining about what happened is not a solution. This attitude is a weakness in a leader. Read my post in 11.2
Well TonyC, I see you have drank the republican kool-aide. Try reading up on the FACTS. Since your hero ron reagan became president- the top 1% of the income earners have received 95% of the increase in wealth, while their % of PAID taxes have dropped by 40%. Try looking facts up, not rhetoric by the people you like. Do some research; stop being so lazy!
Tony, fact is, Georgie broke the cookie jar. Barry came in to clean up the mess. You may complain that Barry is not cleaning up fast enough. You may even claim that Barry is making the mess worse. You may not claim that Barry broke the cookie jar when everyone knows that Georgie did it with YOUR help. It is understandable that you would become defensive whenever you are reminded of Georgie's horrible deed. Guilt is a heavy burden.
Commonsense you say? How is adding to the debt cleaning up a mess? You make my point about complaining about the past.
Don, concern yourself with tax revenue. Tax revenue went up after dropping the rates. The top earners pay the majority of federal income tax collected. How long do you think we can go on with 46% paying nothing? Oh, just raise the taxes on the rich and keep spending. Great solution. Nothing I posted was defensive. Read what you posted.
TonyC, you are so far out there. Deficits have always climbed under GOP adminstrations. Cutting taxes for the wealthy while increasing spending is GOP SOP. That is hardly fiscally responsible. I'm not sure how we can ignore the past when what happened the last 8 years put us in the position we're in today. Bush came into office following 4 years of surplus budgets and blew through it in less than 2 years. Fixing this mess is not free or cheap. You can't just cut spending and expect to fix the debts and deficits.
Trickle down has never worked. If you want to know why many don't pay income taxes, it's because they don't make enough to eat, let alone pay taxes. The top 1% has all the dough. Try looking at taxes as a % of income. In Texas, the lowest earners pay 12.2% of their income in taxes while the highest 1% with ave income over $1 million pay 3%. Income taxes aren't the only taxes paid.
Tony C. Your statement about 46% paying "nothing" is pure BS. You know very well the working poor pay sales tax, property taxes, license fees and many other taxes into our local systems. To pretend that 46% of Americans contribute "nothing" into the system is wrong. What's more, you KNOW it's wrong. So WHY feed that lie???
TonyC, in reference to your statement alleging tax revenue increases when taxes for the wealthy are cut: that's a myth.
" ...the evidence suggests that tax cuts do not increase revenues to the government in any meaningful way, but instead increase government deficits. Likewise, tax increases are often criticized as harmful to the economy and opponents argue that they do not actually increase government revenues. Again, the available evidence suggests that the opposite is true.
Regardless of the effect of changes in tax rates on the economy, it is important to recognize that the idea that tax cuts increase government revenues while tax increases decrease them is a myth. "
There are many more references documenting that statement as a myth.
First, the Middle Class gets deductions; the corporate America gets deductions, loopholes, tax deferment, tax shelters, off-shore addresses, low interest loans (funded by taxpayers), etc, etc, etc.
Second, let's revisit the name: Bush Tax Cuts - the kew word is "cuts." It was a temporary solution to whatever Bush was trying to accomplish.
There were no massive tax breaks for the wealthy. You need to study the tax code and look at the facts when it comes to deductions and credits, etc. You don't know what you are talking about.
Ask yourself this: why didn't Bush make them permanent? Do a little research and then get back to me because it seems that you are the self-proclaimed expert on the subject.
bmerbob
you forgot to add that most economist (many Nobel Prize winners) warned Bush that tax cuts DURING a war is not only a bad decision but a suicide. They warned him that this could happen and it did.
Tony C............. it's BUSH'S deficit!! HE'S the one that left a $1.3T deficit to Pres. Obama when he was sworn in. And in a crisis, that he ALSO inherited, some spending HAD to be done. You dont get rid of a $1.3T deficit in 2-3 years. Hell, it took clinton 5 years to eliminate the $250B deficit he inherited from daddy bush! One consolation is that the deficit for FY 2010, Obama first budget, was LESS than the deficit from Bush's LAST budget, FY 2009. If we're lucky, FY 2011 should come in with a slightly lower deficit than 2010! So, DESPITE the complaining, Obama IS lowering the deficit--that is until the GOP took the House.
Tony, you're FOS. Total household income in the US is about $8 trillion. The top 20% control 46% of that $8 trillion, and the top 4% control a full 25%.
Mil.Gov is running a $4 trillion budget. That budget is projected to run a now -$2.54 trillion budget deficit. Together, MIL.GOV'S BURN RATE IS MORE THAN ALL US HOUSEHOLD INCOME, with the sole exception of the upper crust 4%.
And top 400 families in the US paid only 16.6% income taxes, according to IRS. My family, three working, and three in school, pays ~50% of our income, after income taxes, sales taxes, fees, surcharges and interest penalties on student loans, the NEXT big 'mortgage con'.
This revelation confirms my diagosis of Newtie as being a paranoid schizophrenic. A lot of my fellow psychiatrists have proferred that the Newt's displayed condition is merely a prime example of being symptomatic of extremis hypocritis with reoccuing bungholitis and delusional fantasies of how the Confereracy actually won "The War Between the States". This revelation goes along way towards clarifying the diagnosis of this person.
Politics and blasting Democrats above all........even your own beliefs and pronouncements. DO NOT TRUST A NEWT.............slimy animals..........OK maybe the animal type is not slimy but this Newt is!!
These things are correct and proper ONLY when a Republican does them.......forget about thinking and talking about anything, including humanitarian and defense issues.
I really do feel sorry for the GOP voters it just shows how desperate they really are. They are willing to give away their children's education, their right to live a decent life with health care that is guaranteed to help them live in peace, not have their dreams flushed down the toilet. They are allow these so called politicians to become millionairs as the voters struggle. What a sad group of people. The party of no is just that nothing
Why did the Congress exempt themselves from the new healthcare law? Why so many waivers granted? The quality of education has not improved with federal government involvement and union teachers. The quality of education has decreased. You need to take a good look at the healthcare law so you are not surprised when you find out things are not better, but worse. Do you really believe there are only Republican millionaires?
I feel sorry for Americans, until we can stop playing the Dem / Rep card we are doomed, both parties have their own pro's and con's and neither has the silver bullet. Niether want to tackle America's problems and until that is a mandate put forth by its people we will continue to have professional politicians being professional politicians.
Tony C: I thought you were up on things. Congress did not exempt themselves from the new healthcare law. In fact if you would check, they are required to purchase from one of the Insurance pool plans that will be set up in 2014. That doesn't sound like they have exempted themselves to me. Sort of like the Death Panels that you believe in.
Tony C. The congress exempted themselves from the new HC law because what the people got was not a single payer system. They have complete, cadillac socialized healthcare. No way they would give that up. Would you?
Why did the Congress exempt themselves from the new healthcare law?
Why do the vast majority of Republican Congressmen and Senators accept government-subsidized health insurance? Each and every one of them can choose to opt out and find coverage in the public market. Obviously they believe it's plenty good enough for the rest of us. Shouldn't they live up to their own rhetoric?
Rep. Joseph Crowley (D-N.Y.) penned a letter to GOP leaders that demanded Republican members "walk that walk" and refuse their federally subsidized coverage.
"If your conference wants to deny millions of Americans affordable health care, your members should walk that walk," Crowley wrote to incoming House Speaker John Boehner (Ohio) and Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.). "You cannot enroll in the very kind of coverage that you want for yourselves, and then turn around and deny it to Americans who don't happen to be Members of Congress."
The push began in earnest after Rep.-elect Andy Harris (R-Md.) reportedly complained in a private November meeting that his government healthcare benefits did not begin immediately.

Congress Exempt from Health Bill?
January 20, 2010
Updated: April 19, 2010
Q: Does the health care bill specifically exempt members of Congress and their staffs from its provisions?
A: No. This twisted claim is based on misrepresentations of the House and Senate bills, neither of which exempts lawmakers.
We’ve received many questions about claims that House and Senate members would be exempt from the health care legislation taking shape in Congress. But neither the House nor the Senate bill exempts Congress from its provisions.
Members of Congress are subject to the legislation’s mandate to have insurance, and the plans available to them must meet the same minimum benefit standards that other insurance plans will have to meet. "All plans would have to follow those requirements by 2019," Aaron Albright, press secretary for the House Committee on Education and Labor, told FactCheck.org. "People actually believe we wrote in the bill that Congress exempts itself from these requirements. That falsehood has been going around since the very beginning."
The push began in earnest after Rep.-elect Andy Harris (R-Md.) reportedly complained in a private November meeting that his government healthcare benefits did not begin immediately.
I love this part especially. You would think that the Republicans would join us, the common folks, in the private insurance market. Just to prove a point. Nope, they are the party of: I can have it but you are not good enough for it.
Yes, he is not a very good candidate for the Presidency for lots of reasons. OK, those on the left that like to ramble, say nasty things and rant, go ahead and get it out of your system. He has a right to express his views, and change those views. However, he is not right for the Presidency. The next President will have to be a strong, decisive, fiscally responsible minded person to get this nation back on its feet headed in the right direction.
You have a good point. This nation is in a very serious and troubling spot. We have a President who thinks the answer is big government and government spending, even if that means borrowing money with no clear way to fund the debt. Obama is probably the most naive President since Jimmy Carter. Obama believes social justice is the top priority in the nation and in the world. All the while the economy, housing and job creation take a back seat. There doesn't seem to be a candidate on the other side of the isle as you say. We are headed for a financial collaspe and it won't be pretty. The two sides in Washington just seem to be in a race to see which party can get us there faster.
"We have a President who thinks the answer is big government and government spending, even if that means borrowing money with no clear way to fund the debt. "
We have -- as in -- this is the first one? Were you living on Mars between 2001 and 2006 when a Republican President with the help of a Republican Congress spent more money than all other administrations combined, turned the largest surplus of all times into the largest deficit of all times, started two wars with out paying for them, started a massive entitlement, (prescription drugs) without paying for it, created an entirely new, massive federal bureaucracy (dept of homeland security) , and expanded the power federal government (no child left behind to mention only one) more than any other president since LBJ??
If you want big spending and big government -- vote for Republicans.
that is my problem with the current conservative philosophies. Issue by issue they make sense but in a grand picture they don't fit together
They don't really need to fit together. Each one appeals to a different kind of single-issue voter, most of whom are Republicans. They don't pay attention to the conflicts, they're too focused on their one sacred cow. Finding enough narrow-focus single issue voters = winning elections.
OK, right doesn't rant or say nasty things? C'mon. If you want a modicum of legitimacy these kinds of statements won't help you. Read or listen to Bohener, McConnell, Palin, Beck, Limbaugh, Scott Walker, Bachmann et al and look up their statements on snopes and factcheck.org. Bottom line is they're consistently wrong, misleading and telling outright lies.
uaw-779887, he's not looking like he ate a bug because he doesn't have a chance at winning, he looks like a Prune Face because he DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO RUN ON! Obama smoked the ReThuglican's main talking point! He acted like Commander in Chief, he took charge, and initiated a HUMANITARIAN INTERVENTION MILITARY ACTION. Then he'll get out, and dial back Afghanistan this summer, MENA will have converted to Democracy of a form on HIS WATCH, and all the ReThugs will have to run on is FED:IMF 'structural impoverishment'.
Newt doesn't care if he wins. Even losers are allowed to pocket the $100Ms in campaign contributions, which in 2012 will be HUGE, since SCOTUS declared Corporate Stampede to buy elections. Gore kept $100Ms, Kerry kept $100Ms, they are both rich men today.
But if Obama corks Gingrich, he'll be like Hillary, running frantically back and forth on the stage at the debates, 'Aren't you gonna do anything about this guy!' So sure she would be selected, she ran -$35M in dead beat insolvency.
One thing Newt knows is how to skin a cat. He would drop out in a Pennsylvania second if he thought he couldn't keep all that sweet green, and Corporate isn't stupid, they're not gonna shower an operative with $100Ms with no viable campaign strategy and a history of bailing out.
It's over! Palin is DOA. Gingrich is DOA. Bachmann is NUTS! They got NOTHIN! Romney? Trump? Are you kidding me!? WE HAVE 26% REAL UNEMPLOYMENT! YOU THINK A RICH MAN COULD WIN IN 2012?
I look for Palin to disappear shortly after the 2012 presidential primaries begin. Come 2013, she'll be more forgotten than Dan Quayle. But Newt -- he's like the bad penny you just can't get rid of. After he gets trounced in the primaries, he'll be back on Fox running his yap -- again. My guess is he will still be running his yap an hour after he dies.
Typical Republican, two-faced, narrow-minded grand-standing. Everyone pay attention to the rhetoricemanating from the righteous elite garnering positioning for their run for the presidency. Here's their agenda:
1) Curtailing Abortion Rights
A top priority for Republicans, H.R. 3, "The No Taxpayer Funding For Abortion Act".
2) Defunding Planned Parenthood
Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN), cut off all $317 million in Title X funding for Planned Parenthood.
3) Defunding NPR
House Republicans eliminate taxpayer funds to the radio-based news agency.
4) Investigating American Muslims
Peter King (R-NY) held hearings on the American Muslim community.
5) Declaring English As America's Official Language
Speaks for itself!
6) Reaffirming The "In God We Trust" Motto
They were sent to create jobs, jobs, jobs.
I've kept a list of the ramblings and steady drum beats from these nay-sayers and here's how they are going:
Mitt Romney - He's definitely in the race and currently leading the pack. But he's a lawyer who can't seem to shake the Health Care bill he helped pass in his own state. He usually comes in third or fourth but here recently is at the top of the list. Mike Huckabee - Coming in second and still hasn't made up his mind? Let's remember he's a FOX commentator with consistent second to last place placements! Tim Pawlenty - Another definite, though non commited to running, a lawyer with limited exposure and unknown except to Radical Rightist! Tim Pawlenty actually committed. It doesn't matter where he is on my list lets take a look at him: A career politician since 1989; an attorney who followed Dick Chaney orders not to run for Senate, proving himself to a Republican lacky; Supports DADT, Placed third behind Mitt Romney and Ron Paul but ahead of Palin, Bachmann, Santorum, Gingrich, Pence and Giuliani at CPAC. In 2011 he came in fourth. Each will run by bashing the President and all the great legislation passed by the 111st Congress. Sarah Palin - Self-centered gold seeker with no substance! Newt Gingrich - The author of the failed "Contract with America" and lead Republican "Trickle down" that never trickled! He's a FOX commentator. Newton, his real name, a career politician since 1978, pushed the government shutdown in 1995 and has been married three times. Here's the rest of the possible runners and their brief resumes. Rick Santorum - Who? Haley Barbour - A racist Lobbyist lawyer! Mitch Daniels - An attorney with arrest record! John Thune - He has voted against the Health Care Reform Act! Jon Huntsman - No! An unknown but known to form PAC's to hide funding for candidates! Rand Paul comes to run for the presidency - God Help us!! Ron Paul - Bigot's father and right-winged extremist! Herman Cain - FOX Commentator with no experience!
Looks like you are a very unhappy person. No one should be forced to live so unhappy. Maybe you should move south of the border, or Cuba. There are no Republicans to ruin your life. You will much more happy. Good luck and I hope you find happiness soon in Mexico or Cuba. Added bonus, you will receive free healthcare. Go for it.
He posts his rant, over and over. There are a lot of folks who fall for hog wash and this Rudy clown takes the prize. I bet he is on every kind of give away program he can sign up for.
I'm sorry for the delayed response, Tony. At work at the moment. Can't just spend all day on the computer. Occasionally I get a little time at my desk to return fire at right-wing nutjobs, which makes my day complete.
As long as we're making foolish generalizations, I bet Tony C is sitting at home collecting SSI. The husband of my wife's friend sits at home and collects SSI while he rants all day about how much he hates "socialism". For all I know, he may actually BE Tony C.
The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.
As Commander-in-Chief, the President does have a duty to protect and defend the United States. In instances of self-defense, the President would be within his constitutional authority to act before advising Congress or seeking its consent. History has shown us time and again, however, that military action is most successful when it is authorized and supported by the Legislative branch. It is always preferable to have the informed consent of Congress prior to any military action.
Barak Obama, December 20, 2007
I do love it when the liberal loonies make it so easy!
Tony C - 'He posts his rant, over and over. There are a lot of folks who fall for hog wash and this Rudy clown takes the prize. I bet he is on every kind of give away program he can sign up for.'
Yeah, he probably gets farm subsidies and single-payer socialist health care, like members of Congress, retirees and the mililtary. I am glad that Republicans are taking a principaled stance against this forced socialism on our heros. I mean really, why are we forcing socialism on troops who are fighting and dying in three different wars right now. I am sure the Boehner will start a bill right now to end Farm subsidies, Medicare, Congressional healthcare and Tricare.....even though these go to groups that typically lean right. I mean it would be f***ing hypocritical to receive big checks and free healthcare from the government whilst denoucing Socialism, right?
The husband of my wife's friend sits at home and collects SSI while he rants all day about how much he hates "socialism". For all I know, he may actually BE Tony C.
It's kind of like trying to crucify someone for having an affair while you are having one yourself...and we are back to Newt.
Usually the ones that are against so passionately something are the ones that try to hide something. They try to divert the attention to someone else…
Ass - I'm not good - I tell it like it is and y'all call names and blow smoke. Truth hurts don't it? Look at who's calling who stupid - Nit Noi brain infected! I've never been, nor ever will be "Liberal" as you speak - I live in a real "RED" state - Texas! And you better smile when you say Texas! You are a closed minded know nothing with little mentality and I'll bet you kiss Bush's butt! Bush wasn't even a Texan! I think with my brain! I do not write meaningless garbage to distract. My statements are backed by others who dig out trash the old fashioned way! And here I've found you! I'm retired, a property manager, and live well on my retirement. I got this way by earning my way!
Rudy Gonzales. ...and don't forget declaring 9mm Glock the official Republican Weapon, and opening National Parks to any yeahoo who wants to carry one. The ReThugs really belong in the last century ... before Christ! Ahh,ha,ha,ha,ha.
All politicians are worthless! Each party looks out for the wealth’s interest within their own party not a one of them looks out for the best interest of the USA.
Yeah, but Democratic wealth interests include working people and the middle class! Didn't it bother you that Scott Walker seemed to be so comfortable talking to whom he thought was one of the Koch brothers?
Auntie...... put on those dancin shoes and do the liberal ChaCha!
Koch Koch Kock cha cha cha Rove Rove Rove cha cha cha bushy bush bush ummmmpoppa mau mau! Do the hokie pokie and shake it all about( be careful though dont want to kill innocent children)...Cha cha cha!
"All politicians are worthless! Each party looks out for the wealth’s interest within their own party not a one of them looks out for the best interest of the USA."
If that is true, Paul, the fault is ours. It simply means we aren't paying enough attention or doing our homework BEFORE voting. This is supposed to be a participatory democracy. That does not just mean voting; it means getting information from as many sources as possible (not just Fox News) and making real and reasoned choices. Sadly, that does not happen.
Tweet: Mr. Perot is too tired. He knows its hopeless now and moved to Moracco when he heard Palin and Bachmann and Trump are getting ready for a landslide takeover. I think his citizenship is now French. I'm going there too!
Pathetic. I think what the GOP/teabaggers are PO'd about is that Obama DID take a decisive military action, so they can't say he's weak when it comes to that. What's more, he's issued a challenge to the world community - step up and take care of it yourselves. The US is not the world's police force, nor should it pay for everything. The US did something, but won't do everything - get off your butts and help - basically. Doing something, then getting out - stark contrast to Bush/Cheney's repeated scams to line their pockets with no-bid contracts for Halliburton.
He does kind of look like a newt (my apologies to all other newts), now that I look at him........................hmmmm. I'm good friends with his brother, Salamander and he is nothing like Newt.
Hmmmmmm If I where a half way intelligent person, Oh say an elite over educated buffoon that liked to hear my self babble Id say it was short for a very famous person. But hey Im not that smart and I could Never figure that out. Geesus is it a prerec. that all your left liberals get dropped on your head.....like and apple falling out of a tree! OOoOps did I give it away?
WTF are you talking about. Get an education and come back when you can piece together a sentence with proper grammar and spelling. Good God, people are just terribly stupid these days.
There's nuthin' wrong with mixing local vernacular like 'stinkbait' and 'better'n a sharp stick in your eye' and 'you're just a crawl-under-a-snake' with the kind of high-level political observation that we've come to expect. Really think about it. We all bought Clinton's ChinaMFN and 'Larry, NAFTA is a GOOD DEAL for America!", and we all bought up shares of Zapata.com even though it had no business plan, it HAD A URL! And we all lost our life savings when Bush / Cheney stole into office, after ReThugs forced Clinton on Gramm-Leich-Blilley, ...then Wall Street closed down the Dot.Con.
That Obama boy's slippery'er'n snot on a glass doorknob, 'n we're all gracious plenty smarter today! Them'n's Repolecatlicans ain't got no chancit now, no how!
Newty is not an idiot. He merely has a problem with tying his shoes and figuring out which shoe goes on which foot. The poor guy is so overwhelmed with personal pride and patriotism he even forgets to go to the bathroom sometimes. Newty is a very busy man "working hard" everyday to bring the utmost wealth and prosperity to the American working class. He needs help, you should all send him money, esp. those of you who've lost their jobs.
When I came to this country I had the biggest respect to the politicians of both parties. I sought "What a class, what a respect what a civility and wisdom and of course what a love to this country" drives these people. What a noble and amazing people they are " I feel save here". Now I am sorry to say, but your politicians (especially on the right, looking more and more like political clowns in my country, if you never know what it looks like, you dont recognize it, I do. Liars and morons are cheered for Presidential bits here". I never sought I will say it, Americans are one step away from (what I was running from), but you will not know it, because YOU are the ones who are cheering to stinky and slimy people that destroying your (use to be smart) political base.
@Emma2599691: What smart political base? Where is it? We got talking heads--a 24hr--commentary-opinion well financed industry paying millions upon millions to select individuals who tell us minimum wage is bad, health insurance denials are good, military ventures are good (depending on whose waging it), tax breaks for billionaires is good, corporations cleaning up their toxic waste is bad. Jeez Louise-the smart political base fell in Dallas.
He doesn't look like he has the agility that he displayed here! He just managed to talk outta both sides of his mouth and his hindquarters at the same time! "Newt" is a perfect name for this guy! I think he slid out from under a rock!
One word of advice to the current Mrs. Gingrich - PRE-NUP!!!
Newt is nothing close to a GOP candidate, Multiple divorces for cheating, Lord knows how many lawsuits for business behavior, flip flopping daily on policy and morality issues. He has NO platform to stand on
Then if they run Romney next to him, It will be nearly impossible for Romney to explain why he is against HCR when he himself basically designed 80% of Obama's HCR law and that Republicans designed 100% of the factors in HCR that they are now against (simply because Democrats pass'd it)
Insurance and drug company bribes,,,,,,,,,,errrrrrr,,,,,,"contributions" will cease to flow like a river into Republican campaigns unless they find a way to reverse the HCR law and the fact that they supported nearly all of the HCR law for years before Democrats actually pass'd it just shows how 2 faced they are being.
I watch. I listen. Republicans believe it is Obama's fault that Newt changed his mind? What can you do with that? There is no argument you can make, no post worthy enuf. 50% of america wastes their time talking to the other 50% (that said, GOP stuff sometimes is plain ridiculous, way more fringe characters like tea party and palin, birthers etc). US politics I guess.
Gotta inject one of my favorite sayings here.
Gingrich proves again...and again...and again...and again...
If you do NOT stand for anything, then you will fall for anything.
I simply can't respect anyone who doesn't stand for something once and awhile
Newt – you’re about to overtake Sarah Palin as the nation’s leading buffoon. With each passing day you make more of a fool out of yourself. If it was midnight in Washington and President Obama said it was dark outside, you would say the sun was shining.
Aww, come on. Newtie "loves his country so much" it just gets him all het up.
You're RIGHT Rorschach. In fact The Newt "loved his country so much" that he cheated on TWO wives and had numerous affairs while married to both of them.
(Now THAT's the Republicans' definition of "patriotism.")
TO: Roscoe2u who wrote:
‘UH OH, Mrs. Gingrich better watch out. Newt's already flipped flopped on the Marital Fidelity issue twice, so his about face on Libya could be a sign..........”
^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Well, Newt’s explanation for changes in his marriages was that he would change wives whenever he became involved in “serious” work.
Now that Newt is becoming “serious” about running for president, I guess Newt will getting yet another new wife as well.
It's hard to believe Newt is actually smart.
Some intelligence is inherently positive, mostly benign in nature. Some is malignant, infused with evil. What you got here is your basic evil jeenyus.
Newt won't give up the cash flow, if he ran he would have to disclose his donors and belimited on how much he could take. The same man that sent a strip club a letter to donate and they would give them a fancy award- twice, http://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2009/10/02/Gingrich-nixes-award-for-strip-club/UPI-65991254512914/ a year apart.
He has it way too good milking the die-hards from the right.
Bosslimo is dead right. Dead right. Noot can't afford to actually run. Not the least of the reasons is that he wouldn't win.
Unfortunately, the presidents have a two term limit (ever since FDR successfully serviced four terms, winning each re-election easily, the term limits were insisted upon)
2016--the other Clinton! Or Elizabeth Warren.
It is the common threat for ALL parties.
please...
republicans get backed up against the wall with their lies, hypocrisy and failed policies, and the default escape route is to say, our guys are just politicians, and they do these despicable things. your guys are also politicians, so they must also do these despicable things.
enough of the 'both sides do it' non-sense. if you guys were so worried about corporations affect elections and politicians, you would too be screaming about citizens united and you would too be all for public campaign financing.
both sides do not do it.
AWE???
Hey now, you give us all neanderthals a bad name when you make such a statement.
Hilarious.
Kennethalj
Newt is a loser and always has been. I am incredulous anyone would consider him a candidate for the presidency. The neanderthals will undoubtely unite around him and Palin. God help us!
----------------------------------------------------
It just shows how DESPARATE the GOP is to find a candidate - and how they don't have ANY good ones to choose from.
Bachman is testing the waters now. Newt? Bachman? Palin?
O M G
I can't wait for 2012
Look at that Scrooge face!
Palin, Bachmann and Gingrich are now just fodder for the tip bin of Also Rans! Ahh,ha,ha,ha,ha.
They have to pay back when their campaign loses!! Just ask Hillary!
And NG is egotistical enough to think he is presidential material?
Will somebody please take this garbage out to the trash
TonyC
tax the rich is getting old.
Dr. C. Everett Ploop, FACP, LSMFT
Funny part about the Confederacy statement? Newt's originally from Pennsylvania!
"Pennsylvania Nazis. I hate Pennsylvania Nazis..."
-- Jake Blooz
Newt's dont get paranoid schitzophrenia, they just lick their eyeballs!!! ( which is better than your comb I suppose! :P )
Would you?
barry, Just trying make the point.
verno, you need to check with Harry Reid.
Why do the vast majority of Republican Congressmen and Senators accept government-subsidized health insurance? Each and every one of them can choose to opt out and find coverage in the public market. Obviously they believe it's plenty good enough for the rest of us. Shouldn't they live up to their own rhetoric?

Rorschach-558483
I love this part especially. You would think that the Republicans would join us, the common folks, in the private insurance market. Just to prove a point. Nope, they are the party of: I can have it but you are not good enough for it.
no joke, Bayllie.
"This government insurance is socialism!! What do you mean, my coverage doesn't begin immediately??" -- A. Harris (R-MD)
hey bmerbob......... ow why did ya hafta go postin them embarassin facts agin??? Dont you know it's gonna confuzzle the GOP partisans???? TSK TSK!
And who do you see in that role that fits that criteria.
I don't see anyone on either side of the isle.
Personally i think the republicans just scare the hell out of most Americans
You have a good point. This nation is in a very serious and troubling spot. We have a President who thinks the answer is big government and government spending, even if that means borrowing money with no clear way to fund the debt. Obama is probably the most naive President since Jimmy Carter. Obama believes social justice is the top priority in the nation and in the world. All the while the economy, housing and job creation take a back seat. There doesn't seem to be a candidate on the other side of the isle as you say. We are headed for a financial collaspe and it won't be pretty. The two sides in Washington just seem to be in a race to see which party can get us there faster.
Well we see what the Democrats are about based on the past 10 years in office.
We see what the Republicans are about based on the last 10 years.
I dont want the big government either.
I like the liberal way of life but not the constant spending and you can have both.
Why would we cut education why would we cut programs that help us as a nation all in order to make the rich richer.
We see over the last 2 years that giving more to the most fortunate does not equate to more jobs and a better standard of living.
Why would you stop abortions limit welfare and put more unwanted children on the back of the people.
I don't get it
that is my problem with the current conservative philosophies. Issue by issue they make sense but in a grand picture they don't fit together
Thats not really true everything he has done is exactly what he said he would do
Newt G. stand almost no cance of winning
Bottom line is they're consistently wrong, misleading and telling outright lies.
bmerbob
It's because they think that because they are on the "right" side of the political spectrum, they are automatically right.
uaw-779887, he's not looking like he ate a bug because he doesn't have a chance at winning, he looks like a Prune Face because he DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO RUN ON!
The best thing anyone could do with ANYTHING that Newt says is to flush it! He is FULL of it!
God won't Palin and Newt just go away. They are like two festering bolis on the buttocks of the world.
Perfect name for you!
"God won't Palin and Newt just go away."
"festering boils"....
I'm thinking that the religious right should be able to identify with that. Something about Exodus 9: 8-12.
Plague of boils, thy name is Republican and God ain't amused at all.
They need to take Bachman, Paul, McConnell , Boehner and a few other with them
Typical Republican, two-faced, narrow-minded grand-standing.
VERY GOOD!!! WELL SAID!!
the only thing i like about Ron Paul is he is so far right he is almost left...
Go for it.
Ya and the average lifespan in Cuba is about 15 years longer then America while living with that "horrible" healthcare and in "poverty".... hmmm
Have you ever met a Cuban doctor? Go to south America there are a lot of them. They suck!
Go for it.
He posts his rant, over and over. There are a lot of folks who fall for hog wash and this Rudy clown takes the prize. I bet he is on every kind of give away program he can sign up for.
You mean these aren't the things they ran on? They claim that they are doing what Americans elected them to do?
Could they be any more dishonest!?? (Hint: it's a rhetorical question).
Any more foolish, meaningless, inflammatory empty generalizations you'd like to make? I can use the laugh.
You are not worth the paper your spilt on!
Rorschach, the bet is still on. Seems I hit home with you as well.
I'm sorry for the delayed response, Tony. At work at the moment. Can't just spend all day on the computer. Occasionally I get a little time at my desk to return fire at right-wing nutjobs, which makes my day complete.
Do you have a job?
As long as we're making foolish generalizations, I bet Tony C is sitting at home collecting SSI. The husband of my wife's friend sits at home and collects SSI while he rants all day about how much he hates "socialism". For all I know, he may actually BE Tony C.
I do love it when the liberal loonies make it so easy!
Like shooting fish in a barrel.
Did you read the resolution the Senate passed?
Big John-623659
Boy you aint kidding - your bottom of the barrel graduation and literacy rates prove it.
Sadly, that does not happen.
jollyoldsoul1, I can see why you were collapsed earlier. If brainstorms were rainstorms, you'd be Death Valley!
Where is Ross Perot when we really need him?
Hey, Newt is the PERFECT GOP Candidate!
Obamas rund on creating a National health care plan, then does it.."Americans didn't know about this and don't want it" (except in the polls :-)).
Any reversal is o.k. as long as it puts Democrats, and particularly the President, in the wrong!
Why did his parents name him "Newt"? Seems sadistic.
He does kind of look like a newt (my apologies to all other newts), now that I look at him........................hmmmm. I'm good friends with his brother, Salamander and he is nothing like Newt.
Toady
Hmmmmmm If I where a half way intelligent person, Oh say an elite over educated buffoon that liked to hear my self babble Id say it was short for a very famous person. But hey Im not that smart and I could Never figure that out. Geesus is it a prerec. that all your left liberals get dropped on your head.....like and apple falling out of a tree! OOoOps did I give it away?
WTF are you talking about. Get an education and come back when you can piece together a sentence with proper grammar and spelling. Good God, people are just terribly stupid these days.
How bright can one possibly be if they're consistently swallowing the GOP's stinkbait? :) :) :)
Only con's can turn an education into a bad thing.
Wow, Gingrich is a bigger idiot than I initially gave him credit! How many times can he contradict himself?!
hopefully we have a few primaries at least for him to show us more!
Yes he has to pay those alimony payments so he MUST be in dire straights financially!!
Nothing like a little flip flopping. What a jerk.
I just got these new sandles to wear to the beach this summer what should i call them?
I don't know what to call them, but BE CAREFUL. I was at the beach recently and almost stepped in a big, steaming pile of Newt. Yuck!!!
Look close, it might be a big stinky, slimy pile of Boehner or McConnell... Fertilizer for Fox..
Failed two time loser husband and Speaker of the House flip-flops. Is there a pattern here?
My favorite was when he said he had so much love and passion for his country - that he had to go cheat on his wife.
When you are as slimy as 'the little lizard" its no wonder you slides from one position to the opposite. Newt is a slimeball.
I watch.
