I'm a moderate, so I think I'm allowed to say that whenever a democrat is injured or dies, I see about 5% of republicans with improper, hateful comments. When a republican is injured, however, somewhere around half the comments are hateful and spiteful. Why is this? It disgusts me. Both parties have them, but I can always expect democrats to win in the spite department. I think it's likely the repubs have just as many people with vile thoughts, but dems are more used to spouting off without thinking about how their speech harms or looks like to others.
