Again and again, SHE plays the race card. None of the stories I have seen about her interaction with the WH staff, 2 chiefs of staff, a communication director, etc. has even hinted at her race. Get over it, lady, you are the First Lady of the United States. Would she prefer to always be addressed as the First Black Lady of the U.S., or the Black First Lady of the U.S.? She and others always make race an issue. Most Americans do not care until they are falsely accused of being racists.
Yeah, but I love the irony that she's angry about the stereotype that she's...angry, and ...well, black.
That said, an awful lot of first ladies have had to endure this sort of stuff since Dolly Madison.

What's this "I want my kid's to come out of this thing whole", guess it's too much of a burden to serve this country for her! I thought she was "proud to be an American" for the first time? I guess the highest and most powerful position in the world's not good enough. I'll give her credit though, Mrs. Rodham was worse.

Mrs Obama has to realize that as long as there are old white southern republicans there will be a hatered of any one of color. If the old white southern republicans were in total power in the government you would see a return to slavery and every one of the republicans would be in line to own as many slaves a possible. Desegregation would be a thing of the past, schools, restaurants, all form of transportation would be segregated. The republicans hate of non-whites has to rate with people that practice sharia law. One thing our government has not been able to do is outlaw the hatred of the republicans of non-white citizens.
Huh? I'm 61 years old and I've voted rebublican many times in the past although I'm registered as an independent. I do live in the south but I don't hate non-whites, nor do I yearn for a retrurn to slavery. I know a lot of southern republicans. None of them have ever voiced or even evidenced any such hatred or yearning. Just exactly what planet have you been visiting?
Oh, by the way, Sharia law has no standing in this country. Show me some instance of Sharia law being enacted and I'll admit I'm wrong. otherwise, the laws of this country are our laws, not some dubious baggage brought here by immigrants that wish our laws were different and we could start stoning adulterers and beheading blasphemers.

mrs obama (no caps intended) lost my total respect when she stated "at last I'm proud to be an American". What has she done to deserve any praise or admiration? She thinks she is, and lives like a queen. Just as arrogant as her husband. God, I hope they're gone this year.

I, for one, am pleased that Mrs. Obama is showing the backbone and intelligence of a real First Lady, we haven't had one in many moons. Our country is still full of racial hatred from all races, not just white versus black and vice versa. I will be so glad when we come to the realization that it is all such a waste of time and prevents us from moving forward. I am predominantly Heinz 57, Irish, Cherokee, Dutch, German, and oh yeah a little African thrown in for good measure as are most folks in this great nation, and guess what, all the above mentioned ethnic groups are of mixed blood as well, read your history books people and become part of an educated populace. Keep up the good work, Mrs. Obama.

Michelle is a racist, she hates whitey.....White racists hate Blackie...On going thing in this third world country of ours....barrack "hesinsane" obama has really changed this country as he said he would......We have deeper debt..higher unemployment ( when he fires the service men) it will be higher...sucks up to people and countries that want to finishing destroying this country..flies worldly in two or three jets (cost don't matter)...plays a good game of golf regularly...brags about all these accomplishments that he is proud of.....surrounds himself with thieves and thugs.....travels the 57states...last but not least if he would flap his ears dumbo could fly....
If you want to see some angry black women, watch Jerry Spring or the Maury Povitch show. Even Dr. Phil has his fair share of them. They are pretty scarey, and it makes one wonder why they weren't loaded on a boat and shipped back to Africa.
