I suppose that every time someone contributes a dollar to Obama's campaign he is immediately informed about who and how much that individual contributer gave. Lets ask all of the contributors of all of the candidates Repubs and Dems to publicly declare what they've contributed and the police records of every member in their family. The contributers would dry up on both sides of the aisle. There is hardly a millionaire out there who doesn't have a skeleton in his closet somewhere in his family, as we all do. All contributions to any candidate, political entity, PAC, Super PAC or whatever should be limited to a maximum of $100.00 per individual or company. You can't buy a pardon or political favor on a hundred dollars.

Damn that Obama - always doing the right thing! Can't there be at least one Katrina, or Abu Ghraib, or Harriet Meiers, or justified waterboarding, or Porter Goss, or illicit wiretapping, or Hank Paulson, or even a rogue bag of pretzels on his watch?! Geez!!

Regarding the citizens united decision I think the Supreme court got it wrong, however they ruled on the current laws as written. Whats kept the house and Senate from re-writing the laws. Why hasn't your infallible president taken this issue to the people from his bully pulpit? I'll tell you why Larry! Because he is not only as corrupt as the republicans, he is worse! He lied boldly during the 2008 campaign about his intent to use only federal campaign funds until he realized the size of the cash cow if he broke his word. President Obama does the right thing and very few of you can give him credit for it. He's been the first to list his donors and give back to those that are found to be shady.

Why can you not admit the man has the right frame of mind?

He's a good family man, a good example to men of this country, he compromises when needed and stands strong when needed. The recovery is happening because of him. The only reason the recovery isn't further along is that it was not thought to be as bad when he first entered office and then when it was found to be that bad...he had to deal with Congress' filibusters and stalemates.

He's made our government more transparent...we see more of what's going on. He's made the military stronger by making it leaner and using our special forces as they should be used. He's integrating many departments that overlap to save money and make them work better.

I just don't get the rhetoric from many of you. No man or politician is perfect, but President Obama strives to do better the longer he is in office.

I like what he's done so far to improve things...I would like the recovery to continue.

Note that this data is for AGI (adjusted gross income). So, this is their income after all the things that don't count toward their taxable income has been removed. The top 1% have AGIs that are reduced to a much greater extent than most people.
