Some of the finest warfighters that I have ever seen or had the honor to serve with were both men and women engaged in fighting the enemy in Iraq and Afganistan, and while doing so "most certainly had no sexual thoughts or perceived weaknesses."
Former Senator Santorum will not have the chance in November 2012 to bring the U.S.A. into a faux rendition of the Middle Ages.
Any country that has held its women down has always been either a failed state, a third world sh!thole, or both.
You are so out of touch with the military you should consider ending your quest to become the commander in chief. Our military has been operating with women in combat for the past 20 or so years. I served with women in Just Cause, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and several other non-combat deployments (St. Croix, Haiti, Kosovo). They did their job just fine and we'd have had a tough time getting our mission done without them. Your religious values would hinder you greatly as the President, therefore, I cannot vote for you sir.
Santorum.... After having watched him on one of his speeches and this time with his wife standing behind him, I was struck by her visage. The intense sadness I saw there was most telling about the effects of his stance on women's role in the social world. Another thing that struck me was how his daughter performed the more social functions one might expect from a wife onstage. His reciting the story of the rite he performed with his family of the miscarried infant was ghoulish. His superiority complex is quite visible. By no stretch of my imagination, which is considerable, can I see him as president nor his poor oppressed appearing wife as first Lady could represent our country as anything to emulate. Conservatism in it's finest incarnation... not.
Amd this is how the conservatives plan to win people's hearts and minds??? Nope, don't think so, not in this life.
